We recognise that from time to time placing authorities need to make emergency placements without time to assess the appropriateness for a longer term placement.

We retain several places within our homes for use in an emergency which will typically be for a short duration.

We are geared to be able to respond at short notice to an emergency referral and will normally be able to arrange collection if required.

During the placement we will work closely with the placing authority to help identify a suitable placement that meets the longer term needs of the young person.
